Potential re-opening from the 26th April 2021!

Finally, some happier news on the easing of Covid19 restrictions.

Scotland's first minister, has announced some easing of travel restrictions, based on the scientific evidence relating to current and projected cases. We are cautiously optimistic that if we stay on the current path, that restrictions will ease.

Scotland is still currently in lockdown. From the 26th of April 2021, we will move to a tier system. This will more than likely be Level 3 (Or a variation of). This should see us welcoming UK clients once again. At this stage, we are still awaiting exact details surrounding the movement within/between tier areas, but indications are that we will be able to open for business. There are possibilities that there will still be restrictions in some of the more isolated communities (Such as the Islands) and we suggest checking prior to commencing travel to these areas.

Unfortunately there is no indication as to when we can welcome overseas clients. We miss you all and cant wait to welcome you when its safe.

Obviously, the safety of the public is the priority and precautions will still be necessary to ensure that there is minimal risk. Mask wearing in shops, restaurants and retail premises will still be required. Good hygiene practices, such and hand washing/sanitising is recommended. We also highly recommend down loading the Protect Scotland app, so that in event you or your loved ones are at risk, you can be notified.

Last summer we had many clients experience great getaways and the overwhelming response was that travelling by campervan was a brilliant choice. It offered client's flexibility and many people got to see parts of the UK that they hadn't before. We suggest booking campsites as early as possible, as there will be high demand over the coming months. Staying in campsites also helps the local economy

We have implemented new cleaning and handover procedures, as well as offering early collection and late drop-off times. Collection is now from 11am and drop off is now 2pm. Therefore, we are cleaning the campervans overnight, as opposed to the 3 hours we had to turn vehicles around last year. This will give us plenty of time to sanitise the vehicles, as well as giving our clients extra time for their holiday.

We are providing all clients with instructional videos prior to collection, so that clients are familiar with their camper in advance and we maintain distance during handover. Of course, we are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have on the day of collection.

Based on the demand we experienced last year, we expect to be fully booked over the coming weeks/months. We have invested heavily in new vehicles and will be ready to go.
