30th October 2020All our campervans and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised between hires. The additional deep-cleaning procedure below has now been implemented to allow a contactless handover. Please see our video for the process in action.
Deep Cleaning Process
- A full exterior clean of campervans and all touch-point surfaces.
- All interior surfaces and materials are thoroughly disinfected using anti-bacterial spray and fog.
- Deep-cleaning process for every nook and cranny including all interior touch-point surfaces such as handles, switches, valves etc.
- Full anti- bacterial clean of driver’s cab including touch-point surfaces such as steering wheel, door handles and gearstick.
- Full anti- bacterial clean of floors and upholstery.
- Full anti-bacterial clean of essential kit.
- Full anti- bacterial clean of cleaning kit.
- Full sterilisation of Kitchen cutlery and utensils using high temperature dishwasher and handled using protective gloves to place back in campervan.
- Bedding, linen and towels are professionally cleaned and will be provided in a sterilised storage bag and box.
- A molecular anti-bacterial fog machine is used after the campervan has been deep cleaned to further disinfect all areas and hard to reach surfaces. This sterilises all materials including plastic, wood, glass, vinyl, upholstery and all equipment.
Contactless Handover
- A 2m safety perimeter will be clearly marked around campervan
- Only the client will touch the campervan after cleansing process is complete
- Instructional videos will be sent prior to collection.
- Staff wearing facemasks and gloves will be available to answer questions outside the 2m safety zone.
- Exterior hand-over process.
- A Hand sanitisation station with 2m safety perimeter is available on site
- Signing of the rental agreement and payment of the security deposit to take place at the sanitisation station.
- Clients to use hand sanitiser provided, select a pen, sign agreement, use pen to enter their pin on the card machine for deposit and take the pen with them.
- Collection times may be staggered to ensure no two groups or households are in the vicinity of Campsie Campers depot at the same time.
Returns
- Campervans are to be returned by 11am unless otherwise indicated in writing by Campsie Campers.
- Please contact us with your estimated arrival time so we can stagger returns ensuring social distancing.
- Campervans interiors are to be cleaned thoroughly before return
- All Chemical WCs are to be clean with waste safely disposed of prior to return. Please see this link for Waste-Disposal points.
