Dear friends,
I'm sure you are all aware of the global presence of the Covid-19 Coronavirus and the rapidly developing implications that it is having on our daily lives.
Here at Campsie Campers people come first. This encompasses our staff and customers as well as the wider community. We have prepared an action plan that will help ensure we do our part on beating this virus and protecting all of us along the way.
This action plan not only involves the disinfection on top of our regular deep cleaning of all vehicles, but also the training and safety measures for our staff, customers and suppliers to ensure they remain safe.
At the time of writing, there are no travel restrictions domestically in the UK and there has never been a better time to explore our own environment. The level of contact with situations of exposure to Covid-19 in a Campervan in Scotland is minimal and for those looking to escape the masses, this type of holiday is a realist alternative to international travel. Client vehicles can be left securely at our village base in Fintry.
As this situation is rapidly evolving, we are mindful of people's ability to make the journey to their chosen collection/transfer point. For some of our international visitors this is either currently not advised or not possible.
In the event of travel restrictions being imposed by the UK Government or International Governments that apply to you, the following options are available:
- For reservation dates more than 30 days in the future, you can either change your dates, or your deposit can be refunded in full.
- For bookings within 30 days we can either apply the full balance of your hire to a Customer Credit for any future bookings with us. OR we can refund your 75% balance and retain your 25% deposit as a Customer Credit for future bookings with us.
**Please Note: Our Standard Terms & Conditions apply to any cancellations that are not as a direct consequence of UK or International Governments imposing travel restrictions.
We will keep abreast of all of the current news and will try to contact those directly affected, as information becomes available.
Now is the time to be looking after ourselves and others that are vulnerable in our communities.
We wish you all the best of health and hope to welcome you in the future.
Best wishes,
The Team at Campsie Campers.
